Zaradasht Ahmed
Zaradasht Ahmed is a Kurdish-Norwegian filmmaker from Iraq, known for his powerful documentaries from conflict zones. With over 20 years of experience across the Middle East, North Africa, and Asia, he captures stories of human resilience and has trained local communities to document their own lives. His most acclaimed film, Nowhere to Hide (2016), won over 20 international awards, including Best Feature Documentary at IDFA and two Emmy nominations. Earlier works include Persecuted (2008), The Road to Diyarbekir (2010), and Fata Morgana (2013), which were broadcast across major European networks and screened at international festivals.
