AFFR History

The Architecture Film Festival Rotterdam (AFFR) was established in 2000, and the foundation organized its festival the same year as the first architecture film festival in the world. Festivals also took place again in 2001 and 2003. In 2007 AFFR made a fresh start after a few years of silence. In 2009 the event expanded significantly in terms of visitor numbers and programming.

OKKIO/Michalis Michailidis

OKKIO is a live electronic act that combines elements from DJ and beat music as well as instrumental live music.

Michalis Michailidis, the creator of OKKIO, is a Greek/Czech musician and music producer based in Rotterdam. During his decade-long residency in the Netherlands he has performed in several esteemed festivals around the world and is currently developing his solo project, OKKIO, which is both a live-act and a music production studio. His next release is scheduled for Autumn 2022 and is an exploration on electronic music and the merger of conventional instrumentation to it.
