AFFR History

The Architecture Film Festival Rotterdam (AFFR) was established in 2000, and the foundation organized its festival the same year as the first architecture film festival in the world. Festivals also took place again in 2001 and 2003. In 2007 AFFR made a fresh start after a few years of silence. In 2009 the event expanded significantly in terms of visitor numbers and programming.

Inez Weski

Inez Weski

Inez Weski has been a criminal defense lawyer at the Rotterdam Bar in the Netherlands for 45 years, since 1978; she is specialized in International Criminal Law, member and founder of several Dutch and International criminal defense organizations, advisor to, lecturer and member of several criminal law committees and acknowledged expert on criminal law appearing in several international legal, political and media platforms. She has published columns and articles on criminal and social issues and a book in 2014 ‘de jacht op het recht’ (‘the hunt for justice’). She is also known for her interests in the arts, the promotion of human rights and the rule of law. She is at present focused on writing another non-fiction book, on her painting and on legal consultancy.
