About the program
These four documentaries argue for a radically different relationship between humans and nature. From a solarpunk-like plea for unity with nature, via a confronting visual essay on the waste our society produces, to a hopeful future in which technology and landscape together create space for renewed connection.
About the Rotterdam Climate Academy
The Municipality of Rotterdam wants to work together with housing associations and market parties in their aim to build affordable and sustainable homes, and to make existing homes in the city sustainable. To achieve this, the Sustainable Construction Action Plan was drawn up. The Rotterdam Climate Academy is part of this plan. The academy helps to share knowledge, for example through meetings or collaborations with educational institutions. Primary goal is to work towards a sustainable building culture of the future.
