Having trouble deciding which films to see at our festival? Let us choose for you! AFFR is teaming up again this year with partner Architectenweb to screen the five best festival films in succession on the final day of the festival. Sit back and dive into the world of cinema, city and architecture.

Architectenweb Best of AFFR 2018

The following films have been selected:

The Experimental City (60′)
The world of the Jetsons comes to inhabit this ultimate living lab for urbanization from the 1960s.

New Town Utopia (81′)
The story of how the utopian town of Basildon and its dreams have gradually fallen into the decay and rose again.

Family in the Bubble (78′)
A classic tale of a housing bubble and how it burst, told as a blood-chilling family chronicle.

Human Shelter (49′)
When does a shelter become a home? Find out in this odyssey around the world in search of answers.

Melting Souls (87′)
This film proofs that happiness can be found anywhere, even in the most polluted city in the world, above the arctic circle.
