See Rotterdam like you've never seen it before: the makers of the acclaimed series Santos will join AFFR for a unique take on the city - don't miss it!

The Gouden Kalf-winning crime series Santos tells the story of Glenn and Yola: a couple in love who want to break away from the Rotterdam underworld, but are faced with difficult choices by friends and family. Besides the two main characters, there is also an important role for the city of Rotterdam itself, which ‘acts’ as a third protagonist in the series.

AFFR talks to the filmmakers, Ivan Barbosa and Gregg Telussa, about the question: how has Rotterdam shaped them and how do they shape Rotterdam in their series Santos? In their talk, they will take you on a cinematic journey through everyday and lesser known Rotterdam places; from the Kruiskade to Kralingen, characters and architecture from this compelling crime story come to life.
