On Thursday 20 September AFFR will announce the full program of 2018! This year AFFR is showing more than 85 films and documentaries and organises many talk shows and debates with guests from around the world.
In its tenth edition, the theme of which is ‘Building Happiness’, the Architecture Film Festival Rotterdam explores how we can view the side effects of the pursuit of happiness as a challenge to create a better and more sustainable world. What progress have we made with the circular economy and the construction of a climate-neutral city? What scenarios can we devise for a fair and just society? And what role can filmmakers, designers, planners, academics and politicians play in this regard?
