Jasper Meurer

Jasper Meurer is a Berlin-born documentarian, researcher, and photographer. After studying political sociology at Sciences Po, his work has focused on the role of civil society in public policy and on housing and welfare in Europe. His recent ethnographic research explored volunteer support for migrant communities in Calais and the UK. He is also co-founder of docar, a documentary collective using film to bridge research, education, and visual storytelling. His work has been shown at venues such as the Venice Architecture Biennale, MAXXI in Rome, and the Royal Academy of Arts in London.
