About the installation
An interactive doll’s house for adults in which a colourful character takes you through queer stories past and present. At AFFR you can experience the premiere of the interactive, extended reality theatre Welcome to the Gaybourhood by Studio Marble. Time to break away from the restrictions of the nuclear family: whether you are gay or straight or somewhere in between, everyone can learn from queer households – groups who throughout history and still today are all too familiar with the precarious housing situations in which more and more people now find themselves. With Welcome to the Gaybourhood, you playfully explore the many ways a home can look.
