Warsaw – Postsimulacrum

About the film
A short essay film that uses AI-generated images to recreate the visual language of mid-century newsreels, presenting Warsaw as a city whose identity is continuously reconstructed as a simulation layered over ruins. Razed and rebuilt more than once, Warsaw is a city where reality has long been overtaken by simulacra: replicas of past buildings and symbolic architecture converge into an urban identity shaped as much by fiction as by fact. History, destruction, myth, and ideology blur into a palimpsest of imagined futures and eternal reinvention.
