In Amersfoort, De Nieuwe Stad is rising – the ambitious and forward-thinking area development of a sustainable residential district. In a careful ten-year process, the developer, urban planners, architects and the municipality try to find common ground. But each time the project seems to get off the ground, the development team encounters a new, insurmountable problem.
