This year, AFFR is once again making it easy for you to choose, with our regular programme lines, the so-called Paths!

Follow the ‘Portraits’ path for architects’ and buildings’ profiles from various places and perspectives, that broaden the scope of what architecture can be and how it can be practiced. Are you looking for films on the praxis of architecture? The films in the ‘Hands on’ section explore novel materials, traditional building techniques, and the construction process. Cities are amazing places of culture, trade, education, innovation but also the epicentres of pollution, inequality and heavy speculation – ‘Cityscapes’ is where cities take center stage. The ‘Bigger Picture’ zooms out to global issues with local consequences that challenge the fundamentals of architecture as a discipline, while ‘Cameos’ are the films where architecture is the silent protagonist. Finally, look for the ‘Showstoppers’ , the path with the exceptional stories just waiting to be told!
