The 47
When the cities says no, Manolo Vital drives the change - literally. El 47 is the true story of one bus driver’s fight for public transport in Barcelona’s overlooked periphery.

AKIRA
On his futuristic red motorbike, the young Kaneda speeds through neon-drenched Neo-Tokyo, a city built on the ruins of war. This legendary cyberpunk anime offers a haunting vision of failed urban ideals rooted in the architecture of the Metabolist movement.

Blade Runner
The year is 2019. Flying cars glide between skyscrapers as fire flares from smokestacks and holographic adverts flicker across walls. This cyberpunk film in film noir style is considered a visual masterpiece that offers a dark yet enchanting glimpse of a dystopian future. One that may not be so far removed from our own.

Fahrenheit 451
In a world where obedience is the key to happiness, books are banned, especially novels, which provoke doubt and dissent. Set in a sleekly designed post-war society, Fahrenheit 451 is a chilling and layered portrayal of state control that remains relevant today.

Kontinental ’25
A homeless man is evicted from a building by bailiff Orsolya and takes his own life in despair. Orsolya feels complicit and falls into a crisis she is desperate to escape. A black comedy about the human condition in the neo-liberal era.

Renovation
Ilona thinks she has found her ideal home in run-down but charming Soviet-era apartment block in Vilnius, where she hopes to build her career as a writer. But her new life is abruptly upended when renovation begins without warning.

The Great Arch (La Grande Arche)
Unknown Danish architect Johan Otto von Spreckelsen wins the competition for a new monument at La Défense. The true story of an idealist caught up in a web of political intrigue. There are still tickets available for Saturday 11 October!
