AFFR edition 2011 - Think Big, Act Small
Architectural history is full of utopias and designs aimed at changing the world. The programme featured films about big architects and their dreams, and about the growth of metropolises, gathered under the label ‘Think Big’. As a programmatic counterpart, ‘Act Small’ focused on small initiatives that try to break down large structures, and solitary individuals who go it alone. Particularly in times of economic stagnation, we must explore paths that are smaller: the architecture of the interval.
