The Italian artist Blu makes graffiti and also fascinating “wall animations” by, for example, drawing several illustrations on one spot and filming them in stop motion. Filmmaker Lorenzo Fonda travelled with him to Mexico, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Argentina. A journey along various cultures that became special, because Blu adapts his art, and the film itself also brings animations to life in the public space. Consequently, this movie is in fact two films: an artistic animation film and a travel diary.
