The intriuging photographed, desolate town of Takua Pa, in the south of Thailand is clearly one of the main characters of the movie. The second main character arrives in the form of a young architect from Bangkok: Ton (Supphasit Kansen), the only one of his agency who was willing to spend months in the hamlet overseeing a reconstruction project after the tsunami. He moves into a simple, almost deserted hotel. And very slowly, very reluctantly, he falls for the closed, sensitive and intelligent proprietor of the hotel.
She is Na (Anchalee Saisoontorn) and the third main character. The film doesn't need more. In the subtle treated sad environment something beautiful and vulnarable grows. (GJZ, IFFR.NL)
