Filmic registration of the seasons on two square kilometres of the Rotterdam Kop van Zuid district, where you can find all big city contradictions and developments. Old areas with their characteristic inhabitants, old and new, spectacular new buildings in deserted harbour sites. The hunting area is two square kilometres of city. There are no fences around it, people walk in and out. The north side of the area is bordered by the water of the river. There are towers for the judicial and the economic powers. Just behind,
the nouveau riches live in terraced apartments. The Afrikaander District, a little further on, was built in the time when workers from Zeeland and Brabant moved en masse to Rotterdam to work in the harbour. Now the apartments are largely occupied by another generation of migrants.
