The first post-war IBA was held in Berlin in 1957. Sixty-four world famous modern architects assembled together in the Hansaviertel to actually build the “City of the future”. They included Le Corbusier, Walter Gropius and Arne Jacobsen. The film mixes footage of that gathering with interviews and images of the residents of the district fifty years later. The residents describe the district as a conflict-ridden, yet lively, community in the heart of Berlin. --German spoken, English subtitles--
